Company Genesis

Canlok Information Systems commenced operation in 1991 – started by a group of NSW Central Coast (Australia) programmers, Rob, Paul and Dale, who met while undertaking tertiary education in Information Technology during the 1980′s.

Rather than spread our skills across multiple development platforms, at Canlok we took the specialised approach. In November 1991 Microsoft released Access 1.0, Canlok developed our first MS-Access System in February 1992 (an ugly little bookkeeping system from memory) and have stayed loyal to the platform and our customers ever since. Canlok has developed more than 425 separate Access systems over the past 16 years (Be sure to check out our Testimonials page).

Along the way great value has been delivered by James, Geoff and Steve – all great programmers and friends, each has plied their trade within the Canlok Access Development Framework. Under the guidance of CEO Paul, the whole Canlok family remain involved and continue to provide quality IT solutions to this day.

Canlok systems are designed to take advantage of our clients existing MS Office platforms – typically most organisations use less than 7% of the actual functionality available in Word/Excel/Access/Outlook and PowerPoint.
